Madonna’s Daughter Moving Out? Lourdes Leon Wants Own Apartment

The Outspoken Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree: Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter Lourdes is hoping to convince her icon mom that she’s mature enough to live on her own.

Lourdes, also known as Lola, is planning to become an entertainer, just like her famous mother and has her heart set on earning emancipation from her parents and moving into her own Manhattan pad once she enrolls at New York’s renowned LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts later this year, tabloid tattles claim. Lourdes — who is interested in pursuing a career as an actress — won a place at the high school made famous by the 1980s movie and TV series Fame after impressing the board during a private audition. However, the teen regularly complains about strict Madonna’s tight reign over her budding film career. The Material Girl famously forbade Lourdes from accepting a role in the 2007 box office drama The Secret Life of Bees; the role went to child star Dakota.

Lourdes is banking on legal emancipation giving her the career control she craves.

“Lola has always been quite outspoken but still pretty obedient. Like most teenagers, she’s now starting to rebel,” a Madge Camp source yapped in this week’s edition of The National Enquirer. “It seems she’s fed up with Madonna controlling everything she does. She’s telling whoever will listen that, by next year, hopefully she’ll be able to persuade her mom that she needs her own place,” the source added.
