George Michael arrested after car crash

American singer George Micheal has been arrested after he crashed his car into a shop near his home at 3:30 am.

The 47-year-old singer was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive.

His Range Rover hit the doorway of a called shop Snappy Snaps.

This was the seventh time he has been arrested for a police investigation due to his driving in the last six years.

The Range Rover was filmed on the CCTV mounting the pavement before crashing into the glass and metal shop front.

George climbed out but waited for police. He did not need medical attention.

“Police were called at approximately 3.30am on Sunday to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building,” The Mirror quoted a Scotland Yard spokesman as saying.

“Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive. He was taken to a North London police station and later bailed to return during August pending inquiries,” he added.

George, who had just completed a two-year driving ban, was later released without charge.
