Amanda Bynes Out Of Retirement

Well — that was fast.

Actress Amanda Bynes has returned to Hollywood after heating up the blogosphere with news of her retirement from acting last month.

Bynes, 24, grandly declared her comeback to the big screen on her Twitter account on Friday.

“i’ve unretired,” the notorious Twitter Oversharer posted.

In June, Amanda alerted fans that she was leaving acting because the craft that made her the darling of Nickelodeon in the late 1990s and early 2000s simply wasn’t as fun as it used to be.

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem… If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it,” she Tweeted at the time.

At the time, however, Amanda did admit that she was a little young to call it quits already.

“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first. I’ve #retired.”

Bynes’s career credits Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy entitled All That, and she even fronted her — own simply called The Amanda Show. Amanda also starred along with Jennie Garth on The WB sitcom called What I Like About You. She’s also appeared in a few movies, includng She’s The Man and Hairspray.

She hits screens again Sept. 17 in the comedy Easy A, co-starring Emma Stone.
