Of course Miranda Kerr can still look flawless while chowing down on an ice cream sundae. The supermodel lets her hair down for a very personal T: The New York Times Style Magazine photo shoot — a shoot so personal that her husband, Orlando Bloom, was the photographer.
After shooting on location in Wellington, New Zealand — where the couple and their 19-month-old son lived for seven months beginning last December – the famous duo revealed why the naturally beautiful town makes the perfect hideaway.
“Like this, what we’re doing right now, just sitting in a park, out in public, I can’t do this anywhere else,” Kerr tells the magazine. “In Los Angeles, there are people camped out in our driveway every day, waiting to follow us wherever we go.”

Considered one of the most remote capitals in the world (it’s also where The Lord of The Rings was filmed), Wellington was a perfect backdrop as Bloom spent two days wandering the city photographing his wife. He captured her eating at their favorite local café (top), posing on a farm (bottom) and lounging around other scenic spots — all while Kerr wore designer garb by Derek Lam, Thakoon, The Row and rag & bone (among others).
