Veteran Animation Executive Amir Nasrabadi Joins DHX Media

DHX Media introduced on Monday that it has appointed veteran animation trade government Amir Nasrabadi to function the corporate’s new government vice chairman and common supervisor of its Vancouver-based animation studio.

Nasrabadi, an animation trade veteran of greater than 20 years, joins the staff in a newly created position and can report back to DHX President Josh Scherba, efficient June 10. Nasrabadi has labored in manufacturing, operations, finance and technique within the animation and visible results trade. Prior to Illumination, Nasrabadi was senior vice chairman of manufacturing at Paramount Animation, and earlier than that he labored at Disney for 15 years, the place he was vice chairman of finance and operations for Disneytoon Studios. In 2009, he launched and ran Pixar Canada in Vancouver.
