Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze to Sign Contract Deals

It turned out that less than 24 hours after winning season nine of “American Idol”, Lee DeWyze managed to sign  a record deal with RCA Records as well as 19 Recordings Limited.  As for his pal Crystal Bowersox, she signed a contract with Jive and 19 Recordings Limited for her debut album.

According to the recent reports, the contracts were signed on Thursday. Moreover, they will have DeWyze that joins the label which involves such luminaries as Adam Lambert as well as Chris Daughtry.

Actually, Lambert and Allen has their debut albums in Noember last year. So one can expect that DeWyze as well as Bowersox will keep to the same timetable in order to capitalize in a quicker manner on the lingering buzz of the “Idol” finale. In fact, the singers had some experience in the recording studio.

Two independent CDs were released by DeWyze that came under the name of Slumberland introduced in January and So I’m Told in 2007. As for Bowersox, she managed to record several dozen original songs that involve a folky feel.
