Airtel to reduce prices of iPhone 3GS

Vodafone and Airtel had recently introduced iPhone 3GS at very high prices that disappointed the consumers. But now Airtel has realized the demand of the users and it has decided to relaunch the iPhone 3GS at low prices that can suit very common one man’s pocket.

Right now iPhone 3G is available for Rs. 29,500 with 500MB of free data every month. The new iPhone 3G would be tagged at Rs. 18,499 for 8GB model and Rs. 24,999 for a 16GB model.

It is expected to be re-introduced in the second quarter of 2010.

Airtel is being intelligent to take the decision of reducing the rates of its iPhone as the other leading telecom companies such as Vodafone, Tata Indicom and TELUS can give a tough competition to Airtel.
