Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ranked among Ace 100 Powerful Women

People believe that after marriage the actresses lose their charm in industry but Bollywood Diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s whose magic is still in air has proved this as a mere misconception. Ash has got her name encrypted in the list of leading 100 powerful women around the globe.

There rankings are given by TIME magazine considering the women who are highly successful in their field that also includes Condoleezza Rice, Stella McCartney, Sarah Palin and Nora Roberts.

A source close to Ash unveiled, “Ash is evidently delighted with the development. When she first burst into the entertainment industry, her only goal was to do quality work and she’s always tried to push the benchmarks that she set for herself. That’s why she became the biggest brand in the West and has managed to build on it like no other actor.”

It added, “The list has the biggest names in the world and Ash in the only Indian to be featuring in it. It’s a huge honour. It just goes to show why she is offered the best films nationally and internationally. She has a lot of Hollywood offers and some big announcement on that front might soon happen.”

Ash is currently eagerly waiting for release of her upcoming Mani Ratnam’s Ravana that also features her hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
