Amanda Seyfried Flashes Her Minimalist Engagement Ring

Amanda Seyfried is giving everyone a glimpse of her engagement ring—but don’t look for a diamond. 

On the heels of her surprise engagement to her Last Word co-star, Thomas Sadoski, the actress was spotted gabbing on her cell phone while walking the streets of New York City. Clad in a simple t-shirt and jeans, the Mean Girls alum looked laid back while sporting a ponytail and pair of sunglasses. 

Still, her new hand candy could not be hidden as photographers captured a simple gold band sitting pretty on that finger. While fans may have expected a glitzy Hollywood rock, Seyfried’s minimal band seems to suit her easygoing look. 

Though they have dated for less than a year, the future Mr. and Mrs. recently shared the news of their engagement with “family and close friends,” a source told Us Weekly. The notably private couple first sparked murmurings of an off-camera romance when they were seen arriving to set together.  

While Seyfried, 30, and Sadowski, 40, will make a silver screen appearance together in the upcoming comedy, the set of The Last Word is not where they first met.

Instead, the stars laid eyes on each other while working on the off-Broadway show, The Way We Get By, a stage production about two people who get drunk at a wedding and wake up with each other.  

It seems like life may soon imitate art as these stars head toward their own wedding night and potentially some celebratory bubbly.
