‘American Psycho’ author Bret Easton Ellis has revealed that since arriving in Australia he has become obsessed with singer Delta Goodrem.

Ellis, 46, told a packed audience at the Byron Bay Writers Festival that he had developed a liking for 25-year-old Goodrem’s songs while watching MusicMax.

“Maybe I should go out with her, who does she goes out with anyway?” News.com.au quoted him as saying.

“I didn’t know who she was but God she’s really hot,” he added.
