Ben Affleck is juggling a lot these days: a successful film career, raising three children and doing math homework. Wait, what? Let us explain…
E! News caught up with The Accountant star where he admitted to us that he’s totally game for helping with this eldest child’s homework…for now.
“I was doing math homework last night,” he shared. “When I’m there, you’re stuck with your parents helping you with your homework. Jen [Garner]’s very good at math [too]. So far, my eldest kid is in fifth grade and they haven’t passed me yet. But I feel like in seventh or eighth grade I’m going to start worrying that they’re going to lose me.”
Affleck continued, “It’s important to be involved with your kids’ schoolwork so you know what’s going on and what they’re doing and what you’re supposed to be supporting and going to school nights.”
And when he’s not being a hands-on father, the Oscar-winning actor is hard at work on his ever-successful career.
So what was it about The Accountant that made Affleck so intrigued?
“I was surprised by how smart and intricate it was…the unconventional protagonist.”
He continued, “It was a no-brainer…I just wanted to jump on board.”
The Accountant stars Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons, Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow and is slated to hit theaters on October 20.
