Highlight on New Movie Released DVD
Anyone who watched JoJo’s season of “The Bachelorette” knows that there’s one person who, for better or for worse, made a big impression with the viewers.
Chad Johnson has a big personality and an even bigger ego, if we’re to believe everything we’ve seen of him on “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” but don’t make your final judgments about him just yet.
According to Ben Higgins, we’re about to see a whole new side of Chad on “Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?”

Everyone’s favorite “Bachelor” couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnel launched the first ever couple-focused spinoff from “The Bachelor” this fall, and if its stellar ratings are any indication, the show is off to a great start. Even better, “Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?” is set to air its camping episode Tuesday (Oct. 25), and guess who’s coming along for the trip up the mountain? None other than Chad Johnson.
“I feel like Chad is somebody people would actually enjoy being around if he could keep himself in control. I think he has a good heart. I think he has a huge heart, and Lauren was the first to really point that out to me,” Higgins says.
The new episode, appropriately named “Chad to the Bone,” has quite a few Bachelor Nation guest stars, from Chad to Lace Morris to Chris Soules to the twins. Can we expect to see a softer side to Chad’s typical wild streak? Maybe so, but we should also probably brace ourselves for more villainous behavior too.

“Chad has a massive heart to him, but he doesn’t know how to react sometimes,” Higgins says. “He just says the worst things at the worst times and he operates in a way that is sometimes and a lot of times just not right … I think the viewers watching our show and watching our time with Chad will see maybe a different side of him.”
Stranded in the wilderness with Chad sounds like the worst possible scenario for a reality show to put the young couple through, but here’s hoping they manage it with style and grace.
“Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform.
