Beyonce buys Jay Z a £1.3m Bugatti for his 41st b’day

Beyonce Knowles has gifted her hubby Jay Z the world”s fastest road car on his 41st birthday.

The 29-year-old singer treated the car-mad 99 Problems rapper to a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, costing 1.3 million pounds.

She had to wait a year after ordering the supercar, which can do 255mph and goes from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.

But she managed to keep it a secret – and Jay-Z was thrilled with the surprise, which adds to his already impressive fleet.

“Jay-Z has one of the most enviable collections of bling motors in the world – but even for him the Bugatti is special,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“Obviously the money isn”t a factor for Beyonce, but Jay will be touched that out of everything she could have bought him, she chose something he”ll treasure for years. He”s in for the ride of his life,” the source said.

Jay-Z already owns a Maybach 62S, Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda Roadster, and is an ambassador for American motor giant GMC.

Last year he and Beyonce became the highest-earning couple in showbiz, pocketing 68million pounds between them from June 2008 to June 2009.
