Bollywood Leads the World Film Industry: Abhishek

Evidently, Abhishek Bachchan is riding high on his recent success. The actor reportedly claimed that the Hindi film industry of Bollywood is bigger than Hollywood. The actor made it clear that it is Bollywood and not Hollywood that is the world’s leading film industry.

“India has the largest film industry in the world. We sell twice the amount of tickets that Hollywood does,” said Junior B, on the occasion of the London premiere of his film “Raavan”, in the British Film Institute, Southbank. That occasion was graced by the whole of Bachchan family and Shahrukh Khan’s family.

“They are at a threshold where people have suddenly developed this love for Indian cinema. But I don’t think it’s going to be this huge rage in the English-speaking world. There is always a language barrier and that is something that has to be respected,” he added.
