Britney Spears Channels Madonna On “Glee”

Britney Spears is channeling another famous pop star for her upcoming guest appearance on Glee — the “Toxic” hitmaker played the part of Madonna in a recreation of the pair’s “Me Against The Music” video.

The hit TV musical is planning a full episode dedicated to her music when it returns for a sophomore season next month and Britney began shooting her cameo role this week. During the second day of filming on Thursday, Spears donned a white trouser suit similar to the outfit worn by the Material Girl for the video of their collaborative 2003 track. Spears Tweeted a picture of herself cornering cheerleader and McKinely High School Glee club member Brittany (played by Heather Morris) in a hallway in a move that appeared to be a recreation of a moment from the original video, in which Britney corners Madonna in a club.

The second season of Glee kicks off on FOX Sept. 21. The Britney Tribute Episode airs Sept. 28.
