Broke Lindsay Lohan Swapping Free Swag For Cash

How does an out-of-work tabloid darling stay afloat in Hollywood? For former A-lister Lindsay Lohan, selling free swag has become the most lucrative career path she’s been on in years.

Lohan is reportedly more than $600,000 in debt and was nearly evicted from her Los Angeles apartment last month. If that weren’t troubling enough, the once accomplished child star is suspected of lifting a $35,000 Rolex a pal accidentally left at her house.

As a last ditch effort to free herself from mounting money troubles, Lindsay has allegedly resorted to selling off the clothes, shoes, jewelry, and other free goodies she’s pocketed at special events and from designers over the years.

A Lohan tattle spills on the pages of the May 17 issue of Star Magazine: “Lindsay has her hangers-on take boxes full of clothes to LA cosignment shops like Decades and Entre Nous. She ends up getting only 20 percent of the retail value, but she still manages to pull in about $10,000 a month. That’s pretty good, considering Lindsay didn’t pay for any of this stuff in the first place….”
