The vodka-soaked reality soap that has become a pop culture phenomenon Stateside, is thisclose to edging out The Hills as the most-watched reality series in the history of Canadian broadcasting.
Last Thursday night’s episode drew 486,000 viewers north of the border, according to BBM Canada data. The Shore ranks as the second-largest audience for a single episode in MTV’s history, behind the Hills’ series finale –which drew 605,000 total viewers July 13.
In addition, the sophomore season of Jersey Shore has drawn nearly seven million video views on MTV.ca.
