Cheryl Cole Performs “Promise This” On “The X Factor” [VIDEO]

If you’re a fan of European pop, the name Cheryl Cole requires no introduction. But you’ve never seen Cheryl like this. The usually-conservative Cheryl took the stage wearing bondage-style tights and a white blazer over a skimpy leotard. Watch as the British songbird and sometimes Girls Aloud frontwoman belts out her uptempo solo smash, “Promise This,” on television’s The X Factor.

Cole pre-recorded her performance in front of the studio audience an hour before the ITV show aired. Cheryl, 27, also mimed parts of the routine. ITV say the performance was pre-recorded because it was difficult for her to judge and sing on the show.

Her new solo album, Messy Little Raindrops, hits retailers next month.
