Courtney Love dismisses Robert Pattinson as Kurt Cobain rumours

Courtney Love has dismissed rumours that she chose Robert Pattinson to play her deceased husband, Kurt Cobain, in an upcoming biopic.

According to the New York Daily News, she said: “Who would cast him? That’’s just wrong. I watched the ”Twilight” stuff … and it resonates with the teenaged girl in me. But isn”t that silly?”

It was previously reported that Pattinson, 23, had landed the role of the Nirvana lead singer, who shot himself in 1994.

Rumours suggested that Pattinson has regularly been in touch with Cobain’s widow, who has been handed a key role in the production by bosses at Universal Pictures.
