DataWind to launch UbiSurfer netbook in Indian market @ 7999

DataWind, the ace company that produces wireless web access devices has recently revealed an updated version of UbiSurfer DataWind netbook that incorporates SoftMaker Office facilitating access to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This latest netbook has 7 inches wide screen with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It features 128MB of RAM and a 1GB flash memory that can be expanded using Secure Digital card system. This device also supports wireless Ethernet, embedded Cellular Modem, GPRS, and Wi-Fi, speakers, USB port and headphone jack.

UbiSurfer comes with Dual Speaker System, Stereo Sound Earphone Jack, Standard 80 Key keyboard and Touch Mouse Pad.

This netbook is expected to launch in May with the price tag of Rs. 7999 that will come with an offer of a full year free internet access.
