David Dhawan scraps plans for Amar Akbar Anthony

David Dhawan is presently not very much interested in planning for Amar Akbar Anthony, remake of Manmohan Desai’s film by the same title, with the three famous Khan brothers of the Bollywood film industry.

It was rumored that David Dhawan had plans to cast Arbaaz, Sohail and Salman in the film. But it was difficult to sign Salman for the film and then he backed off from the film.

Now David has said that the project has been scrapped and it was impossible to do the film again. He said that no actor could be fit to play Amitabh Bachchan’s role as Anthony in the original film

It is learnt the David has planned to make Partner 2 and the film is expected to go on the floors early next year.
