Back off, Snooki! The Original Goddess of Poofed-Up Hair is back with a new TV deal.

Eighties Scream Queen Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) has teamed up with digital favorite This! TV to front a new weekly horror-themed television showcase.

Get ready for all the cheesy cult classics and B-movies you can handle!

A frequent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and many other talk shows throughout the 1980s, the Elvira character gained notoriety with her tight-fitting, low-cut black gown which showed more cleavage than you could bat an eyelash at.

The new series will serve as a revival of Elvira’s Movie Macabre, the Friday night frightfest that kicked off in 1981 and turned Elvira into a household name before ending in the mid-nineties. The modern-day interpretation of Movie Macabre will feature 26 two-hour horror films, hosted by the former Las Vegas showgirl. The show will be distributed in syndication by Trifecta Entertainment, who couldn’t be happier to have landed the Mistress of Darkness, now 58, for the buzzworthy project.

“Elvira will be every bit as relevant as the first day she burst onto the scene; a beautiful opinionated woman who always delivers just what her audience expects from her,” thrilled Trifecta CEO Hank Cohen said this week. “At Trifecta, we take pride in bringing proven and trusted brands to the syndicated marketplace; Elvira is a time-tested and wildly successful brand unto herself and her new show perfectly exemplifies our strategy.”

Elvira’s Movie Macabre will debut the weekend of Sept. 25 on The THIS Network.

Now if only someone would come up with a way to resurrect USA’s Up All Night!
