Elvis Presley’s memoirs to be up for grabs

Legendary rock and roll singer Elvis Presley’s valuables are going to be put on sale.

And the memoirs to go under the hammer includes Presley’s grand white piano, which could rake in up to 1 million pounds.

The gold-trimmed instrument, kept at the King of Rock and Roll’s Graceland home from 1957 to 1969 is the most sought after belonging that is up for sale.

Presley’s Triumph TR-6 Convertible that he gave to a lover is expected to fetch around 45,000 pounds and his gold-framed sunglasses are priced at 12,000 pounds.

Collectors can also grab his address book for 2,000 pounds, his target pistol for 5,000 pounds and his huge opal and diamond ring at 30,000 pounds.

Elvis bought the piano second-hand in 1957 and had it painted white with gold trim.

He had heard it played as a teenager while attending gospel ‘sings’ with his mother.

“For the serious Elvis Presley fan or collector, it’s hard to imagine a more important musical relic,” The Sun quoted an auction spokesman as saying.

The auction will be held in August in Memphis, Tennessee.
