First Look: Tom Cruise As Stacee Jaxx In “Rock Of Ages”

How’s that for a transformation? Actor Tom Cruise Tweeted the world premiere image of him as ‘80s hard rocker Stacee Jaxx in Adam Shankman’s forthcoming movie musical Rock of Ages.

It’s a very different look for one-half of the celebrity duo dubbed TomKat.

The 48-year-old former hunk, whose resume includes stints as Mission: Impossible’s Ethan Hawke and Les Grossman of Tropic Thunder fame, is seen shirtless, sporting long brown locks, multiple tattoos, boots, and even bulging biceps as he belts out Bon Jovi’s rock classic, “Wanted Dead or Alive.”

Rock of Ages, which also stars Julianne Hough, a Dancing With The Stars alum, Emmy winner Alec Baldwin, and Grammy-winning R&B Queen Mary J. Blige is slated to hit theaters on June 1, 2012. Bad boy comic Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who won an Academy Award for playing murderess Velma Kelly in the 2003 musical movie Chicago, round out the ensemble cast.
