Gateway launched its latest NV Series laptops with enhanced features

Gateway extends its NV Series collection of laptops with the inclusion of certain new notebooks with latest features. The biggest advancement in Gateway notebooks is that all the devices incorporate AMD processors.

Some other features included in new NV notebooks are- a 15.6-inch Ultrabright LED-backlit HD display (1,366 x 768 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio), Windows 7 Premium, Microsoft Office Starter 2010, Adobe Flash Player 10, Integrated Super-Multi, Double-Layer DVD drive,1.3MP HD webcam and Full-sized keyboard. The devices also support 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB ports, HDMI and Media card reader for connectivity purposes.

Gateway also incorporates “social networking” button which provides one-touch access to sites like Flickr, Facebook and YouTube.

The Gateway NV51B05u laptop is capable of 1080p HD video playback, sports an AMD E-Series processor E-350 with Vision Technology and ATI Radeon HD 6310 graphics.

The company gives a 60-day trial of Norton Internet Security. The price of most of the notebooks with AMD C-Series processor C-50 with HD Internet Technology starts from $ 399.99, the aforementioned NV51B05u comes with the price tag of $ 469.99 while the Gateway NV51B02u, with an AMD E-Series Processor E-350 with Vision Technology costs around $ 449.99
