Is Jessica Simpson hooking up with Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson?! Apparently not, but not for lack of trying on Jack’s part!

Nicholson has proved he’s still a ladies’ man by asking pop star Jessica Simpson out on a date. The Oscar-winning actor reportedly invited the single Simpson Sister to join him for an evening out on the town together, The Bastion of Truth that is The Sun reports.

“I have no idea how Jack got my number as we’ve never met. He asked if I wanted to go to his Beverly Hills house for dinner,” Jess was allegedly overheard gushing to a pal.

At 73, The Shining star has been linked to a number of actresses and models over the years — including Lara Flynn Boyle, Anjelica Huston, and Michelle Phillips — and has fathered six children with different women.
