Jennifer Aniston Beverly Hills Mansion For Sale

Got $42 million burning a hole in your checking account? American’s Sweetheart Jennifer Aniston is parting ways with her suburban Beverly Hills mansion just weeks after confessing that she’s on the hunt for a “little spot” in New York City.

Aniston, who said recently she wants to simplify her life, has put the mansion on the market four years after she purchased it for $13.5 million. The Just Go With It actress moved into the plush property shortly after celebrating her 40th birthday in 2009. Jennifer tells PEOPLE she felt the need to sell her dream house after having an epiphany during a recent trip to London.

“My life felt really cluttered. I couldn’t sleep and I sort of had one of those moments where I went, ‘I really need to simplify, my life needs to be simplified’… And along with that thought came, ‘I should sell my house.’”

She adds: “I had the realization that this is just too much for me. I’m not this person.”

The new owners of Jennifer’s sprawling estate will be on the receiving end of some extensive upgrades the actress had done during her brief time there, The Los Angeles Times reports. A koi pond, a travertine bridge, and a custom glass chandelier in the entry way accentuate the property.

The former Friend’s now house-hunting in the City That Never Sleeps, where she celebrated her 42nd birthday last week.

“I grew up here, I miss it, there’s nothing like the city that just is the city of every man; it’s all walks and I love that,” Aniston told daytime culinary expert Rachael Ray earlier this month.
