Congratulations are in order for Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris!
The longtime couple revealed Wednesday they are expecting not one, but two, bundles of joy in the coming months—a boy and a girl who will join their 3-year-old daughter, Justice Jay, to complete what is sure to be the most adorable family in CW history.
Ackles, who stars on Supernatural, took to Instagram to share the great news with an absolutely adorable announcement. Alongside a photo of five pairs of cowboy boots belonging to Jensen, Danneel, JJ and their soon-to-be littlest ones, Ackles wrote, “Adding a couple of pairs of boots to the family later this year. #crazytimesahead”
Crazy? Maybe. Exciting? Absolutely!

The One Tree Hill actress echoed her husband’s anticipation with a tweet that read, “Yep! Doublemint here we come!”
A rep for Jensen confirmed the baby news, telling E! News, “They are thrilled.”
“It’s been quite the adjustment,” Ackles told E! News exclusively back in 2013 when asked about balancing fatherhood and filming Supernatural. “A friend of mine says it’s a slightly different gear, and I said, different gear? No, you put it in park, you get out of the car, you get in a different car, you take a left down a wrong street; that’s basically where I’m at now.”
With their daughter and son due later this year, the countdown is definitely on for Ackles to prepare for his next round of parenthood!
