John Travolta Jets Home As Kelly Preston Goes Into Labor

John Travolta is making a mad dash back to the Sunny State of Florida after a shortlived trip Australia. It’s the actor’s last ditch effort to be with pregnant wife Kelly Preston, 47, who went into labor with the couple’s third child on Saturday — three weeks ahead of schedule!

John had been Down Under for a promo visit to celebrate the 90th anniversary of his favorite airline, Qantas, and to headline a list of celebrities at a weekend telethon to raise money for children’s charities in Western Australia.
Travolta, 56, had been set to arrive in Perth on Sunday but instead made good on an earlier vow that if his wife “goes into labor, I’ll have to take the plane straight back on a 22-hour flight.”

The proud parents have confirmed that they are expecting a boy, who they will name Benjamin.
