Kate Hudson Engaged?

Ringing wedding bells and the distinctive sound of a firing shotgun are on the horizon for knocked-up starlet Kate Hudson. Hudson and her British rock star boyfriend Matt Bellamy have secretly got engaged after learning that the actress is expecting a child with the Muse frontman later this year, UK tabloid The Sun said Wednesday.

Kate, previously romantically-linked to Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, has been dating Matt, 32, for approximately nine months. The baby will be the first for Bellamy, while the 31-year-old Almost Famous actress already has a seven-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

The couple celebrated their upcoming nups with an engagment party in Matt’s native London this week, insiders say.

“It was an intimate party. They kept their engagement secret as they wanted to celebrate with their nearest and dearest before it became public knowledge.”
