Katy Perry Penning Wedding Love Song For Russell Brand

Katy Perry is writing a love song to serenade husband-to-be Russell Brand with at their wedding later this year.

The “California Gurls” singer accepted the British comedian’s proposal during a vacation in India last December. The engagement followed a whirlwind romance that began in Sept. 2009 and Katy is planning to cap off their love by serenading Russell with the romantic tune when they get married later this year.

“Katy has written a love song for Russell. She’s planning to sing it to him right after they exchange vows,” squeals a friend close to the couple. “She can’t wait to see the look on his face. It’s going to be the most emotional moment of her life. Katy’s fallen head-over-heels for Russell and isn’t afraid to show everyone her inner feelings. She thinks that the best way she can express herself is with romantic lyrics.”
