Ken Paves Jessica Simpson Feud?

Is it the end of the road for one of Hollywood’s most enduring and endearing friendships?

Word on the Curb claims singer/actress/fashion designer Jessica Simpson has had a parting of the ways with her mane man, Tinseltown hairstylist-to-the-stars Ken Paves. Tattling tipsters tell E! Gossip Guy Marc Malkin that Jessica and Ken — co-stars on the ill-received VH1 reality show The Price of Beauty — have been on frosty ground since Simpson took up with broke ex-NFL star Eric Johnson a few months ago.

“They’ve had a major fight. Jessica’s devastated over it, she loves Ken. He just won’t speak to her at all. They were so close. Maybe one of them will come around.”

Paves is even accused of snubbing Jessica’s 30th birthday party last month. In the meantime, Ken’s been spending his days in the company of Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, insiders say. Ken, however, insists his friendship with Jessica is as strong as ever. He says they simply don’t have as much time to spend together as they once did (After all, Jessica actually has a man for once….) and blames conflicting schedules for missing his bestie’s B-Day.

“Jessica and I are definitely still friends. Jess is very supportive of my other relationships as I am of hers! The truth is we have both been busy and on different schedules. I know Jessica is very excited for me! I’ve brought her dad Joe on to manage these projects. It’s all in the family! We are all definitely still friends…”
