Glee’s Lea Michele has spent much of the past few months defending herself in the Court of Public Opinion, thanks to a series of unconfirmed tabloid scoops portraying the Broadway alum as the second coming of Shannen Doherty. Now Lea is battling “Diva” rumors once more following a report that she ignored fans who wanted to meet her during Sunday night’s Governor’s Ball Post-Emmys Party in Los Angeles.

The actress — who plays the perky and preppy Rachel Berry on FOX’s high school-themed musical-comedy — attended the Emmy Awards with several co-stars from the FOX series, but reportedly avoided supporters who tried to approach her for an autograph, a fellow attendee told E! Online this week.

“She was making out with her boyfriend the entire night. There were a lot of security people there for the event, obviously, but she was one of the few who had her own personal bodyguard.”

The tipster claims that Michele instructed security to keep admirers away from her.

“[Upon being approached,] Lea came up for air, goes, ‘No, I do not know them’, and went back to making out with her boyfriend.”
