Listen To The Theme Song From 'The Lego Batman Movie,' Plus: First Images From '…
Few movies have built up so much trust with audiences quite like The Lego Movie. When the movie was first announced, it was written off by many as a transparent cash grab, the logic being that since Legos obviously have no story of their own, a movie would surely exist as nothing more than a flashy way to sell more toys.
But then the movie came out. It wasn’t just a dazzling piece of animation. It wasn’t just hilarious and creative. It also had a heartfelt, meaningful message about the need for imagination and individual identity. It blew audiences away, made a ton of money in the process, and earned the team behind it a ton of good will for its inevitable sequels. The first of them, The Lego Batman Movie, hits theaters this weekend, and ahead of its release Warner Bros. has released the theme song “Who’s The (Bat)Man.” It’s not quite as infectious as “Everything is Awesome,” but it’s still a funny, totally in-character jam that exists just to feed Batman’s enormous ego.
Give it a listen here.

This fall the third movie set in the Lego cinematic universe hits theaters. Unlike the first movie, which had to cook up its own story and characters, The Lego Ninjago Movie is based on an on-going series with its own mythology and plotlines. The original show, itself based on the toyline, is a more standard good vs evil story for kids, and it looks like that’ll continue on the big screen, albeit with a big injection of the kind of humor that made The Lego Movie such a big hit.
And now we’ve got a few images from The Lego Ninjago Movie, showing the cinematic versions of the villainous Lord Garmadon (Justin Theroux), as well as the team that will take him down – Kai (Michael Pena), Nya (Abbi Jacobson), Jay (Kumail Nanjiani), Lloyd (Dave Franco), Zane (Zach Woods) and Cole (Fred Armisen) – and their leader, Master Wu (Jackie Chan).
The Lego Ninjago Movie hits theaters on September 22.
