Marc Anthony Jennifer Lopez “The X Factor” Judges?

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are the latest names rumored to be in consideration for the US version of the UK talent hit The X Factor, which will feature Simon Cowell as an executive producer and judge.

The salsa crooner and the aging sex symbol are on Simon’s 50-person shortlist as possible judges on the American adaptation of the series that launched the career of English songbird Leona Lewis, London’s The Mirror squealed on Thursday.

Tattling tipsters claim Simon is convinced that the married duo are just the pair he needs to “win over the lucrative Latino market” in the US.

“He thinks J-Lo or her hubby would be fantastic additions and Jennifer would add a real international appeal,” an insider told the paper.

The X Factor will premiere in the US in 2012. Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Lady Gaga, Cheryl Cole, and Paula Abdul are among the stars linked to guest spots on the program.
