The story follows a younger couple visiting an remoted Swedish village; over the course of their trip, they uncover that its residents take part in an eccentric set of seasonal traditions. The latest demise of the principle character’s mother and father casts a way of dread over the proceedings.

A pair travels to Sweden to go to a rural hometown’s fabled mid-summer competition. What begins as an idyllic retreat shortly devolves into an more and more violent and weird competitors by the hands of a pagan cult.
