Talk about art imitating life.
Myers has signed on to voice the classic Looney Tunes character in a live-action/CGI feature film currently in pre-production, New York Magazine’s Vulture Column said Thursday. Pepé and his love interest Penelope Pussycat will be created with the help of digital imagery, while the rest of the Warner Bros film will be live-action.
Pepé first premiered in a cartoon short back in 1945, but this is the first time that the character is being adapted for the big screen.
