Newlywed and heavily-pregnant, Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr has put her New York City bachelorette pad up for sale.

The dimple-cheeked catwalker is unloading the Manhattan apartment as she and actor-husband Orlando Bloom nest at his Los Angeles mansion ahead of the arrival of their child. The couple, who secretly wed in the Caribbean in July, are now spending most of their time at the actor’s $2.81 million four-bedroom home in the City of Angels as they prepare for the baby’s birth.

The 10th floor, corner condo is in the Jade building, which was designed and named after Rolling Stone Mick Jagger’s daughter Jade Jagger. Miranda’s pad features floor-to-ceiling windows, two Juliet balconies and a 26-foot-wide living room. The 57-unit condo conversion at 16 West 19th Street also features an interesting gimmick: pods. Inside each pod is a kitchen, a mosaic-tiled bathroom and a closet. The building has two floors of communal terraced space for residents, which includes a reflecting pool, a fitness room and a Moroccan- themed lounge. Oddly the apartment also features an oversized shower and toilet with a glass wall – facing the middle of the nine metre wide living room. The supermodel is hoping to get $1,429,000 for the one-bedroom, 904-square-foot flat in NYC’s trendy Flatiron District, which she paid $1,084,436 for in 2007. That means Kerr, 27, would make a modest $295,000 profit should she get her asking price.

Originally marketed towards young, single buyers, the listing agent says most interest has come from foreign buyers.
