New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Saturday, within the first easing of COVID-19 restrictions in weeks, stated film theaters outdoors of New York City can begin reopening on Oct. 23.

The firm sounded the alarm in a Tuesday submitting to the Securities and Exchange Commission, pointing to low attendance figures for theaters which have managed to reopen amid the pandemic and the drought of main Hollywood movies to lure moviegoers into its venues.
