The Batman: Once again, Ben Affleck has cast doubts on making a solo movie about Batman, provisionally titled The Batman. This time, Affleck says: “It’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great, I’m not going to do it.” It’s understood that Affleck will also direct the movie, if it moves forward. Affleck is next confirmed to play the character in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, scheduled for release on November 17. [The Guardian]
Doctor Strange: An end-credits scene in Doctor Strange suggested that the good doctor (Benedict Cumberbatch) will appear with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in an upcoming Marvel adventure, but which one? A new report from the official Disney fan club appears to confirm that Stephen Strange will appear in Thor: Ragnarok, due in theaters on November 3, though we still haven’t heard anything official from Marvel on the subject. Fullmetal Alchemist: A live-action adaptation of a popular anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist follows two brothers who search for the famed Philosopher’s Stone, which they need after an attempt to revive their dead mother did not turn as they’d hoped.
