Mid-90s: Michelle Williams (Manchester By the Sea, above) is in talks to star in Mid-90s. Jonah Hill wrote the script and will make his feature directorial debut. The story follows a 12-year-old boy who must come of age while dealing with peer pressure from his skateboarding buddies in Los Angeles. If things work out, Williams will portray the boy’s mother. Saw: Legacy: The next, secretive installment in the Saw horror franchise completed production in November and is now in post-production, according to a new report. Laura Vandervoort (Ted, above) and Hannah Anderson are the first cast members to be announced. It appears that Peter and Michael Spierig (Predestination) are directing the project, based on a script by Pete Goldfinger, Josh Stolberg and original creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell. Roger Ailes: Academy Award winner Alex Gibney (above), director of Taxi to the Dark Side, Zero Days and more, is preparing a documentary about Roger Ailes, the former head of the Fox News cable channel, who stepped down this past summer after accusations of sexual harassment arose from multiple women. Gibney confirmed the project but declined to provide any details about his plans. [THR]
The Belko Experiment Trailer: A new trailer for The Belko Experiment neatly encapsulates the premise: 80 corporate employees are locked in a building and ordered to kill 30 of their fellow workers or be killed themselves.
