Janis Joplin: Michelle Williams (Manchester By the Sea, above) is once again set to star in a movie about legendary singer Janis Joplin. Filmmaker Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene), who was first attached to the project in July 2012, will direct. Hellboy III: This past summer, Guillermo del Toro said that a third installment of Hellboy “is a wish that will never be fulfilled [because] the first two movies made really good profits on a market that doesn’t exist anymore.” Now, however, del Toro has asked fans to tell him their feelings on a prospective Hellboy III — by voting either “yes” or “hell, yes” — and then promised that if 100,000 votes were received with 24 hours, he would have a “serious sit down” with Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and actor Ron Perlman. It’s inspired by a real-life scandal in the late 1970s, in which gangsters orchestrated a scheme to shave points in college basketball games. Collide Trailer: Nicholas Hoult stars as a backpacker in the thriller Collide. As a new trailer suggests, he takes a job as a driver for a big heist to pay for emergency medical care needed by his girlfriend (Felicity Jones), but things do not go as planned.
