National Movie Award for Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise received the Screen Icon Award for his achievements as an actor. He was honored the award at the National Movie Award 2010.

The actor was present in person in London to take the award. He is currently on a promotion tour for his film Knight and Day. Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow presents him the award at the finale of the ceremony.

In his touching speech, he concluded that if he had entertained the people at all, then he thanked to them.

Cruise had made a great name for him in the 80s and has played tough and demanding roles in the films. The actor follows Scientologist religion has been in the limelight throughout his carrier and is married to teen actress Katie Holmes.
