There are basically two ways a movie called Office Christmas Party can go. Either it’s a lowkey, dry Sundance dramedy about someone’s mundane life spiraling out of control after they experience yet another boring holiday party at their dead end job. Or it’s a raunchy comedy about the most outrageous company party ever. Guess which route the new movie from the directors of The Switch and Blades of Glory took?
Featuring a ridiculous cast that includes Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Rob Corddry, Randall Park, Jamie Chung, Abbey Lee and Courtney B. Vance, Office Christmas Party is a raunchy, R-rated comedy about a couple of employees who go for broke and through a raging shindig at their office. They’re not actually terrible employees, though. They’re doing it to impress a client who can make or break the company.
As you can see from the new trailer, though, things get out of control in a pretty big way. Check it out.
