Newest ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer is An Awesome Trip Back in Time
At this point whoever Warner Bros. hired to cut the trailers for Mad Max: Fury Road is just showing off. They know they keep knocking it out of the park each and every time, and their latest is basically running a victory lap. And the particularly cool thing about it is that it doesn’t even have a ton of new footage in it.
Truth is, there’s going to be a ton of people who walk into movie theaters on May 15, 2015 and buy tickets for Fury Road without even knowing that there are three other Mad Max movies. And it’s not exactly their fault. The last Mad Max movie came out in 1985. People who were teenagers when it came out are now old enough to have their own teenagers who are just now turning old enough to see R-rated movies on their own.
But thankfully that’s why WB has cut together this kick-ass “legacy trailer” for Fury Road that takes a look back at the Mel Gibson-led movies that came before it. Check it out.
