There’s another royal wedding on the horizon: Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, is engaged to be married for the third time after popping the question to Canadian philanthropist Karen Gordon.
Gordon is the founder and chief executive of Whole Child International, a Los Angeles-based charity that works to help orphaned, abandoned, or abused children. The private wedding will take place on June 18 at Althorp in England, the ancestral home of the Spencer Family, where Charles currently resides. (That’s just under two months after his nephew William’s forthcoming nups to fiancee Kate Middleton…)
This is third marriage for the 46-year-old Earl — a family title which dates back to the 17th century. He has four children from his first marriage to Victoria Lockwood and two from his second marriage to Caroline Freud.
