The Manhattan nightclub hostess who became the first of more than a dozen mistresses romantically linked to womanizing sportsman Tiger Woods during a far-reaching 2009 sex scandal has applied for a license to become a private investigator.
In an interview with Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper on Sunday, Rachel Uchitel — who also admitted to bedding Bones star David Boreanaz says she is prepared to snoop on men who stray in her new line of work.
“Yes, that means I will be hunting down cheating husbands,” the 35 year-old admits. “It is all part of me moving on with my life and I figured I may as well do something career-wise that I have a flair for.”
“I will never, ever do that again,” Rachel says of being involved with a married man.
Uchitel attributes her sorted past with men on the death of her fiance Andy O’Grady, an investment banker who died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
“We were madly in love and I was the happiest girl in the world. I was working as an assignment editor for Bloomberg News, Andy I were talking about our future and kids. In Andy I found my rock, a stable male figure that I’d never had…then 9/11 happened,” she said.
“People have called me all sorts of names, but they don’t know me. I am not the same as the other girls and I never ever imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be caught up in a scandal like this,” adds the brunette, who brands herself a love addict.
“I’m only telling my story now so that people can discover what sort of girl I am and learn the truth about me. If they still choose to hate me, then so be it. But I never set out to hurt anyone. I’ve been branded as a scarlet woman but I am much, much more than that. I am not a whore, nor am I a girl impressed by money or fame. I have a brain and I came from money. I never needed any man’s money.”
