Rihanna’s Dad: “I’ve Forgiven Chris Brown…”

Rihanna’s sometimes-estranged dad Ronald Fenty doesn’t hold any grudge against his battering daughter’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

In Feb. 2009, Chris assaulted Rihanna before the Grammy Awards, leaving the pop star battered and bruised. The now 21-year-old faced a harsh public backlash after he plead guilty to assault the following August and was sentenced to six months of community service, and a year of domestic violence classes. He was also banned from coming anywhere near Rihanna for five years.

Now nearly two years after “Domestic Disturbia,” Ronald Fenty, 57, says he’s let go of his hatred for the “Forever” crooner.

“It was really tough seeing the pictures of her beaten up, but I have forgiven him. He has lost so much from one stupid mistake,” Ronald tells The Sun. “So me making him feel even worse makes no sense. I feel sorry for him now.”
