Star Wars reveals return of C-3PO and R2-D2 in new sport trailer

The new trailer for Star Wars‘ upcoming VR expertise Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge has revealed that we will be joined in Batuu by our two favorite droids.

C-3PO and R2-D2 will seem within the sport which sees gamers change into a droid technician who should deal with The Guavian Death Gang when their ship crashlands on the galactic outpost planet of Batuu.

The sport is ready between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker and can function Anthony Daniels reprising his position because the voice of C-3PO.

Speaking to StarWars.com, Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge director Jose Perez III defined what it meant to have Daniels lend his voice to the venture.

“Having Anthony bring his experience and energy to the game has been a dream come true,” Jose stated.

“He actually elevated our venture along with his deep-rooted understanding of C-3P0 and his fun-loving angle and kindness. Having the true Threepio simply makes the whole lot really feel extra Star Wars-y.”

As to what C-3PO’s position will likely be, Jose gave a number of treasured hints. “Without giving away too much, you are working on a ship that is ‘transporting’ Threepio to Batuu when shenanigans ensue,” he stated.
