Tea consumption causes rheumatoid arthritis in women

A disadvantage of sipping too many cups of tea is that you may become victim of rheumatoid arthritis, especially if you are a woman. Those who never consume tea are less likely to have this disease. This finding was revealed in a study that was meant to analyze differences between tea and coffee.

The study was conducted on more than 76,000 women who consumed tea regularly and were found to be 79% more likely to have rheumatoid arthritis. It was also found that coffee is never likely to be responsible for the disease.

Now the study that took place in the US and presented in Rome, will focus on the method of preparation of the two drinks and how they are linked to this disease.
